The treatment not only improves volume, but can help smooth out smoker lines, laugh lines, lipstick lines, wrinkles around the mouth.

Typically, your incisions will take between 3-4 weeks to heal, and leave a pink or red scar.

It’s critical to work with an experienced surgeon to minimize the side effects. Typically, patients experience redness, swelling, and slight pain within the first few days following your treatment.

Before undergoing treatments, you should avoid blood thinners. If you’re prone to cold sores, you may want to consider antiviral medication since lip surgeries can often trigger cold sores.
